Wow! We had a great time at our first Mardi Gras in New Orleans! We went to 2 parades - Endymion & Bacchus. They were fabulous! And I even finally understood why we had to have a ladder and that as crazy as it sounds - it's actually pretty cool to put your kids up in a box on top of a ladder along the sidewalk! The kids, while yawning - kept saying - "Get me something cool Mommy!" And "Throw me somethin' Mista!" I'm actually looking forward to next year!
